Accessibility Statement

HERBAL NEUROCARE S.R.L. is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Law of 9 January 2004, n. 4. This accessibility statement applies to herbalneurocare.com.

Compliance status

Partially compliant

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard due to the non-compliance cases and exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reason: non-compliance with the Law of 9 January 2004, n. 4.

  • Non-text content: some functional images may not have descriptive or sufficiently adequate alternative text.
  • Minimum contrast: some text or components may not meet the minimum color contrast ratio*.
  • Contrast in non-text content: some interactive interface components (such as buttons, form controls, and focus indicators/outlines) do not appear to have a contrast ratio of at least 3:1 in various states (focus, hover, active, etc.)**.
  • Visible focus: some buttons or elements may not have a sufficiently visible indicator when they receive keyboard focus***.
  • There may be links and/or buttons:
    • that need to be better defined (e.g., learn more) in describing their purpose/destination.
    • that use the same label, but lead to different destinations.
    • lacking labels, descriptive text, and/or missing adequate ARIA attributes.
  • There may be elements such as IFRAMEs lacking an identifying TITLE attribute.
  • Some links may be redundant and cause difficulty in navigation via assistive technologies or keyboard.
  • Dropdown submenu items (especially on desktop devices) are not easily accessible to those using assistive technologies and/or keyboard navigation.
  • Possible presence of elements not sufficiently described through adequate ARIA attributes, making the site not perfectly navigable/usable (e.g., missing an indication identifying the purpose of the three bars used to open the main navigation menu on mobile) for those using assistive technologies or keyboard navigation.
  • There may be elements and/or parts (e.g., ARIA-LABEL) in different languages that are not correctly translated and/or marked with specific attributes.

Reports of false positives detected by automated tools:

During the technical analysis, some incorrect reports emerged from the MAUVE++ automated validator, including:

  • Alleged color contrast and/or focus issues on elements that, upon visual and instrumental verification, are fully compliant.
  • Alleged color contrast and/or focus issues on interactive interface components that, upon visual and instrumental verification, are fully compliant.
  • Alleged visible focus issues on buttons or elements that, upon visual and instrumental verification, are fully compliant.

These false positives have been documented and do not represent real issues for the site’s accessibility.

These elements have been documented as part of the technical analysis supporting this statement. Any adjustments will be evaluated and planned based on the priorities identified by the company, which confirms its commitment to progressively improve the site’s accessibility and ensure an inclusive experience for all users.

NB: the site was created using the WordPress CMS, therefore it uses features introduced by the theme and/or plugins in use which require direct interventions on their code to resolve any accessibility issues described above. In this regard, since a specific development and/or code-writing logic is used, these are not immediately resolvable and will therefore be addressed more specifically following further analysis or during future interventions.
